John Carpenters 'The Ward'
Hmm. It wasn’t the return to epic form I’d love from Carpenter but it served well as a modern horror, especially with so many other distinctly average entries in the genre (I’m looking at you Friday 13th Remake, The Collector, Saw 5,6,7 etc).
It’s no-where near as tense as Drag Me To Hell (if you saw it in the cinema), not as fun as Sorority Row and Orphan has the better...

Off to see John Carpenter's 'The Ward'
SO EXCITED. My first John Carpenter film I’ll have seen on original release. I saw The Thing at the Halloween All-Nighter in 2009 but I’d already seen it before that. I fucking love the Carpenter films I’ve seen so far, so I’m really looking forward to it.
