Yeah alright, I know I had a go at it last week, but this is just my top moment of 2012, not a list of all the banal things I’ve done over the course of a year.

Best moment of 2012? Hearing those opening chords of Born To Run at Sunderland.

That first moment he walked onto stage was up there, but nothing compares to hearing that intro, live. It’s the song I associate with some of my best times at uni, and the ideology that better times lie ahead.

One of my favourite songs of all time, and one of the best songs ever written.

‘Tramps like us.’

My dad knows me too well.
There was also a coat, which I like a lot, but I forgot to include it in this photo.
Anyway, he gets 10/10.

Thank you, bellend who punched me in the face, you’re going to have funded a lot of great times.

There’s rumours that Bruce is going to tour again in 2013 and in Europe and Germany has a date announced, sweet lord he better come to England. I will go to every gig.

BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE

Absolute perfection.

Wish I had a car so I could drive all night.

Also wish I had someone to drive all night for.

We’ll meet beneath Exxon sign that brings this fair city light.
My ideal Bruce Springsteen setlist.

Today is a day of listening to The Rising album.

Thoughts are with all those who lost their family on 9/11.

So hungover. Food is needed.

It still devastates me that Springsteen didn’t play Jungleland at Sunderland.

Think how amazing it would have been if he had sang those last words as “Tonight, in Sun… Der… Land…”

THAT’S THE STUFF DREAMS ARE MADE OF.

Wasted opportunity.

Serena Ryder - Racing In The Street (Bruce Springsteen cover)

I really like this version. My favourite is the 78 version on The Promise, but I think she does well.

Fucking hell Philadelphia, I’m jealous.

I'm Nic. "Wide eyes and faith that life would never pull us apart if we were ok." I like films, I want to direct them. I'm a geek about them, it's my passion. My advice is; Things are never the same as they look in the brochure. Wear sunscreen. Distance kills the best of intentions. The only one thing that people have in common is that they're all going to die. Trust me on the sunscreen. Enjoy it and ask me anything you want. Stay safe kids.
